Persistence
Have you ever run a program to get a value and wished there was a way to store that value without you having to write it in manually? This is the problem with persistence. So far, our programs have started on a “clean slate” each time we’ve run them. However, as we delve deeper, it is useful to have data stored not in the code, but in a separate file.
