Okay, so now that we know how Machine Learning works, what can we use it for?
Regression is often used for predicting prices - in many, many sectors - or physical phenomenon. This is what we’ll be working on in this course. However, there are other kinds of ML Algorithms.
Classification classifies various inputs into different specified categories, and has literally millions of applications, from classifying malignant tumors to understanding handwriting to classifying songs by genre.
Unsupervised approaches are used in customer segmentation, fraud detection and much more.
Reinforcement learning is used in more physical applications, due to its versatility, and often guides AI-driven Robots, whether they pick up things, walk or even drive.
